Console
The console provides text-based access to MikroTik RouterOS configuration and management features using text terminals, either remotely by using a serial port, telnet, SSH, or console screen within WinBox, or directly by using a monitor and keyboard. It covers command execution in hierarchical menu levels, login options, terminal customization, banner messages, quick typing, safe mode, and scripting.
Note
The system note is a text that RouterOS shows to administrators at login: the router's purpose, contacts or a warning. Set it in the CLI, in WinBox or from a sys-note.txt file, and show it before the Telnet login prompt.
